The Muslim Community of Dominica (MCD) has created this privacy policy to demonstrate our commitment to the privacy of the users of our website. Please read the following to learn more about our privacy policy, and how we treat personally identifiable information collected from our visitors and users.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

You can visit the MCD’s website without revealing any personal information. However, the MCD needs certain personal information if you wish to sign up to post comments and our other membership access areas. Where required, this information may include your personal contact information and/or your company contact information. The MCD will use this information to reply to your inquiries, to provide you with requested information and services, to set up your member’s account (if you cannot do so), and to contact you regarding updates to the Community. By accessing the services of the MCD and voluntarily providing us with the requested personal information, you consent to the collection and use of the information in accordance with this privacy policy.

Collection and Use of Non-Personal Information

The MCD automatically receives and records non-personal information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page you requested. The MCD may use this information to learn more about its visitors, and see how best it can tailor its services to those visitors. However, the MCD does not connect this non-personal data to any personal information collected from you. The MCD also allows third party companies that are presenting advertisements on some of our pages to set and access their cookies on your computer. Note regarding children under 13

The Website is intended to be used by adults. It is not intended for children, and MCD does not want to collect any personal information for persons who are under the age of 13. MCD recommends that parents do not post, or permit others to post, any personally identifiable information with respect to persons under the age of 13. This Privacy Policy applies only to this website, and not to websites owned by third parties. We may provide links to other websites which we believe may be of interest to our visitors. However, due to the nature of the internet, we cannot guarantee the privacy standards of websites to which we link or be responsible for the contents of sites other than this one, and this Privacy Policy is not intended to be applicable to any linked, non-MCD site.
